Money and authorization
Fees, authorization and rewards, in order.
The preparation fee is raised when the office approves, paid when the client authorizes, and referral rewards follow collected fees — never promises.
The fee follows the approval.
When the office approves a return, an invoice for that service is raised. The client sees it with the figures on their return and pays when they authorize. Payments run through a mock processor in the current release and are labeled on screen; production connects a processor behind the same step.
- Fee per service
- Paid at authorization
- Refunds reverse rewards
A signature step that waits for the figures.
Clients sign by typing their full name after reviewing the summary. The step is a labeled placeholder for Form 8879 today; an e-sign vendor plugs in without changing the workflow.
- Figures first
- Typed-name signature today
- Vendor-ready
Rewards accrue on collected fees.
Referral commissions move from pending to eligible to paid as payments clear, and reverse on refund. The office sets the rules — percentage or flat, thresholds, tiers — and pays out from one ledger.
- Pending → eligible → paid
- Reversed on refund
- Rules per office
