How the Partner Preparer Program works
Your own office on the platform, e-filing through Tax Harbor this season, and referral credit that never moves.
Independent preparers want their own clients, their own calendar and their own name on the door. They also want to file without carrying every piece of infrastructure themselves. The program gives them both.
A separate office
A partner office is its own tenant. Its clients, cases, documents and settings are isolated at the database level. Tax Harbor's platform view sees plans and tenants, never tax records.
Filing through Tax Harbor
Returns pass the same three approvals — preparer, office, client — and are e-filed through Tax Harbor's partner provider this season. In the current release the transmit step runs in simulated mode and is labeled on screen.
Credit that holds
The first touch on every lead is locked when it arrives through your link. Rewards follow collected fees from pending to eligible to paid, and reverse on refund.
- Your own tenant
